1. Students are able to explain the structures and functions of state governments
2. Students are ambassadors for America, responsible for explaining the American government system to a fourth grade class from England through an oral presentation with powerpoint.
3. Students the roles and responsibilities of their elected officials.
4. Students are now the principal of their school. As principals, they must create a school constitution and a classroom constitution while demonstrating the understanding of the relationship between the two.
5. Students were now hired as <creative job> to create a song, poem, play, or painting.to show adults who may have forgotten what they learned in school.
6. Students understand the purpose of the California Constitution.
7. Students understand the relationship between the U.S and California Constitution
8. Students Understand the California Constitution’s key principles.
