Visual Learner by Mind Map: Visual Learner

1. Visual Learners learn best by seeing what they are learning.

2. Visual Learners learn best by seeing what they are learning and prefer to use tools, such as pictures, graphs, and charts. Visual learners also like to think in pictures, take detailed notes, tend to be fast talkers, and usually prefer quiet study time.

3. Visual learners commonly remember visual details and prefer to see what they are learning.

4. I think being a visual learner has it's downside, when it comes to math. I think one of the major reasons why I have never really been too swell in math is, because I believe math takes more of a hands on, and auditory learning style to master. I believe this, because I feel that it is harder to learn math by watching a teacher solve problems on a black board, versus solving problems hands on with a piece of paper, and a pencil, while a teacher stands over your shoulder coaching you.

5. Professionals advise visual learners to use flash cards, colorful highlighters to mark notes, and to draw and outline information that is needed to be remembered.

6. Visual learning is more than the best way for me to learn. I would rather watch a video, or watch someone preform a task, and then have me try to complete the task after watching someone, versus having someone tell me how to do something, while I am conducting the task.
