1.1. Talk about the ideas everyone has contributed. Free-associate and start identifying patterns, directions.

1.2. Tips

2. Group

2.1. Group ideas - Funny, Esoteric, Descriptive, etc.

3. Eliminate

3.1. Vote on the entries, eliminate those that get no votes. Or, depending on how many people are voting, delete those that get significantly fewer votes than the others.

4. Refine

4.1. Pick the top 10, then the top 5, perhaps narrowing down the choices to 3, eventually leading to the top choice.

4.2. Tips

4.2.1. Depending on your goals for the brainstorming session, you may want to end the session with your top 3 choices, or even more, which can then be presented to others for feedback. Or, you may want to decide on one option as the 'winning' idea. This is also the time to further refine the idea itself, if necessary.

5. Introduce

5.1. Clearly define what you want to achieve - a product name, a theme for an advertising campaign, problem you want to solve the title for your book--anything. The goal is capture as many ideas as possible.

5.2. Include the criteria along with any pertinent information like competition or intended audience.

5.3. Tips

5.3.1. Keep it loose. Keep it fun. Introduce the session with a statement that "Anything goes." That's when people are apt to let go and 'risk' suggesting whatever is on their mind. Sometimes a 'bad' idea is the precursor to a great one.

6. Pitch

6.2. Без названия

6.3. Tips

6.3.1. Don't stop to analyze or theorize. Don't comment. In particular, don't make negative comments or try to eliminate an idea. At this stage, quantity, not quality, is what you're going for.

7. Jumpstart
