6.1. liberal perspective: I believe in providing the necessary education to all students.

6.2. liberal perspective: I believe in enabling students to individually develop them self.

6.3. liberal perspective: I believe it is important to educate students on cultural diversity and citizenship and participation in democratic society.

6.4. traditional: Although I believe families should ultimately be responsible for transmitting the values of the U.S. society (and especially specific to said family), I find it necessary for schools to pass this along more often.

6.5. progressive: I believe education is a vehicle of progression to make things better.

6.6. Diane Ravitch said "To believe in education is to believe in the future, to believe in what may be accomplished through the disciplined use of intelligence, allied with cooperation, and good will." I find myself agree with Diane Ravitch on most of what I have read from her in chapter two.
