1. close-up-framing technique that captures the head and shoulders of the subject
2. extreme close up- A certain feature, such as someone's head, takes up the whole frame
3. mid shot-a framing technique that captures subject from the waist up
4. room to view-frame pictures of moving subject for space in front of the subject
5. rule of thirds- divides the frame into 9 sections, points of interest should occur at 1/3 or 2/3
6. headroom- space above a persons head in a close up shot
7. high angle-A highangle shot is a cinematic technique where the camera looks down on the subject from a high angle and the point of focus often gets "swallowed up."
8. low angle- a low angle shot, is a shot from a camera angle positioned low on the vertical axis, anywhere below the eye line, looking up.
9. long shot- a framing technique used to capture the environment and full body of subject
