1.1.1.1. 1814 to 1824, Jackson wanted to negotiate for Indians to move to the west. The United States was forcing to move to a place that they did not want too. Many Indians died since they didn't survive while moving.

1.1.1.1.1. On 1831 Cherokee went to the supreme court

2. African Americans

2.1. Thomas Jefferson opposed Slavery ( 1835) and believed that everyone should be equal and African American people should live like regular people and not slaves.

2.1.1. Black people were treated very bad especially for woman since their owners raped them and did stuff that they did not wanted to do. The United States took advantage of them and made them work very ling hours and would not treat them well. Black people ( African American) are also humans and suppose to be treated equally.

2.1.1.1. On January 1863 Abraham Lincoln decided to have a free country with no slavery and made that an order to free all the slaves. At this time Black people were finally free to do what ever they wanted or go back to African.

3. The United States

3.1. The U.S population grew more than five million in 1800 to more than 23 million by mid-century

3.1.1. It was estimated that nearly 4,000,000 americans moved to the western territory around 1820-1850

4.1.1.1.1. The war between the United States and Mexico was about violence and racism. Mexico was almost obligated to give the land to the United States. The United States wanted the land because of all its riches that it had including the gold in California.

5. Is the United States very nice to everyone ?

5.1. As i was reading the articles i have to a conclusion that the United States always try to have it their way and force people to listen to them. They let themselves in to take over a country and states.

6. Does the United States really care about their people?

6.1. The articles made me react to some stories i did not know about. The history of 1776-1861 made me realize how the United States did not care about people. They only cared about themselves. They did not care about Mexicans, African or Native Americans. I felt that these people felt unwanted in the United States but were forced to live how the United States was making them. Mexicans and Native Americans were force to change their homelands to a different style and African Americans were treated bad because of their color.
