1. Visual learners tend to be neat and organized and their learning style preference requires the use of visual representations of information.

2. Strategies for online learning for a visual learner

2.1. I am able to take my time when learning information in an online environment by writing out specific ideas or concepts I do not fully understand.

2.2. By working alone I am able to depict information in a manner that is understandable to my learning style.

2.3. I use note cards at work to remember key points I want to discuss in briefings and I will do the same for key information I will need to remember in my courses.

3. Visual learning is the easiest way for myself and others to learn information because of the need to portray information in a logical and structured manner. Our learning style allows us to be creative when working alone to graphically depict how information makes sense to us.

4. Visualize information in pictures/charts

4.1. It is easier for me to remember information if I am able to associate the information with a compatible diagram or image

5. Writes out steps, explanations, or highlights

5.1. I prefer to read the directions when completing tasks that require step by step instruction

6. Generally like to work alone

6.1. I prefer working alone because I do not have to worry about conflicting ideas or working styles
