1. Define

1.1. a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common

1.2. a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

2. Problems

2.1. Issues faced in classrooms with different communities.

2.2. Different cultures and backgrounds of different students.

2.3. Reaching different families on a personal, communicative level.

3. Ideas

3.1. Come up with strategies to reach said families.

3.2. Talk with parents and other staff about finding different ways to reach the people in the different communities.

3.3. Research and use online resources to come up with ideas, to get communities on the same page.

4. Action Points

4.1. Plan a event at the school that families can attend.

4.2. Get involved with the community, have dinner nights at local restaurants etc.

4.3. Plan parties, fundrasiers or dances where the community can be involved as a whole.
