Plans on how I will use a blog for my classroom. by Mind Map: Plans on how I will use a blog for my classroom.

1. Whenever we go to the computer lab I will have my students utilize this site to create a reflection journal blog on how the lesson went for them. Primarily, I will be using the 3-2-1 Closing/Exit strategy. This is to occur during the last 5 minutes of class.

2. The students are to provide 3 examples from the lesson they had trouble with or what they've learned. For example, if we are studying figurative languages, they can list metaphor, alliteration, and smilies as the types of figurative langage.

3. Next, they are to provide 2 examples from the lessons they want to learn for the next day. For instance, they can write, "I don't understand the difference between simile and metaphor" and "I'm still having trouble understanding hyperboles."

4. Last but not least they are to provide 1 question on a concept they are not clear on. For example, they may say "When is it appropriate to use a simile or metaphor?"
