COCONUT CAKE

1. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
2. INGREDIENTS: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter, room temperature 2 cups white sugar 5 eggs, room temperature 1 teaspoon coconut extract 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature 1 cup flaked coconut
3. Directions
3.1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
3.2. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan
3.3. Mix Flour, Baking Powder,and salt together. Set aside.
3.4. Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
3.4.1. The mixture should be noticeably lighter in color.
