4. Hinduism

4.1. Goal of life: To attain self-realization

4.3. Hinduism is the oldest religion among the existing larger religions

4.4. Hinduism is the world's 3rd largest religion with more than 900,000,000 followers

4.5. Hinduism originated in India

4.6. Temples are the places where hindus worship

4.7. Knowledge is transferred from enlightened guru to disciple

4.8. After death people are either cremated or buried

4.9. A cow is closely associated with the religion

4.10. All books that contain knowledge are considered sacred

5. Buddhism

5.1. Buddhists go to temple

5.2. A Buddhist temple is called Vihara and is a place for education

5.3. Shoes are removed before entering a temple for respect for Buddha

5.4. Buddha is known as a teacher not a god

5.5. Candles are lit and Buddhists recite verses in the Vihara

5.6. Flowers and food are placed on the front of the Buddhist Statue

5.7. The food is given to the Monks since they own nothing of their own

5.8. Buddhists feel that giving food will help them reach Nirvana
