2.1. Assessment is the planned, structured and defined process of evaluating, analyzing, measuring and documenting the learning progress and effectiveness of the skills acquired during a process.
2.1.1. assessment is for making inferences about learning and development of students and its purpose is to increase student learning and development
3. types of assessments
3.1. use formative assessment tools
3.1.1. class discussions, peers assessments, research report, class activities, teacher feedback, written reflection, essays, surveys, student led, pictures and thoughts etc
3.2. use summative assessment tools
3.2.1. class tests, mid term or final exams, final project, recording knowledge and teacher led, PYP exhibition,end of unit test, ISA test etc
