Echo and Narcissus

1. Echo was too chatty, and was cursed by Hera

1.1. She distracted Hera from her cheating husband on accident

1.2. Hera cursed her with the inability to speak her own words; she could only repeat

2. Echo met Narcissus and fell in love, but could not speak to him

2.1. Narcissus did not love anyone, and constantly broke people's hearts

3. Echo decided to reveal herself to Narcissus

3.1. He pushed her away, shocked by her love for him

4. Heart broken, Echo ran away to the mountains

4.1. Over many years, her body died away, leaving only her echoing voice to bounce through the rocks

5. Narcissus discovered his reflection in a pond and instantly fell in as deep a love with it as Echo felt for him
