3.1. Caused by water in the trenches and unhealthy living conditions

3.2. If you got it you may need amputation.

3.3. To prevent it they had to dry their feet and replace socks often

4. Not Much Food

4.1. Very little food at the beginning of the war.

4.2. It was greatly appreciated when received

4.3. It was hard to get food
