2. Duties and Responsibilties

2.1. Map out existing processes and create a process library that lists and defines how we do things

2.1.1. KPI: % of processes that have been mapped. Depend on an initial effort to list every process we want mapped

2.2. Identify points that need to be improved either at company level or process level

2.2.1. KPI: $ saved by initiatives.

2.2.1.1. Or proven turnaround reduction in given step

2.3. Once a new process has been designed, follow up on the release until the new process is fully grasped by the organization.

2.4. Use the Theory of Constraints to determine which bottlenecks we have both at company level and at process level and work to exploit bottlenecks to their fullest

2.5. Liaise with developers and or FMS Super User (or Magic Eye) where appropriate to guarantee processes are digitized as envisioned

2.6. Own and steward new processes until internalized by the organization through KPIs

2.7. Guarantee that data quality and process output remain within boundaries set by management and create initiatives to improve numbers when required

2.7.1. KPI: Various data quality indexes, shared with other departments

2.8. Maintain a project library with frequent updates highlighting latest actions, obstacles and opportunities of each project / process improvement project at hand.

3. General

3.1. The J&J Process Manager is responsible to condense, digitize and improve on all tacit knowledge of existing process in the company. The Process Manager is responsible to assure processes are the most efficient they can be and that the data flowing through them is at maximum quality levels.
