1.1. the fight scene: when thomas attacks charlie at his birthday dinner, it was a avery intense scene. Jacqui was there and she was very intimidated and unsure of what to do in that situation. Thomas's mum and dad both tried to intervene and stop the fight. Thomas had so much built up anger inside of him that he unleashed on Charlie in this scene. This scene may not have been good, but Thomas did need to get this anger out some how.

2.1.1. throughout this movie, Tom and Charlies relationship goes through ups and downs. Their relationship progresses and strengthens as this movie goes on. Tom becomes to accept Charlie and accepts that Charlie will never be normal.

3.2. Jacki sees charlie for the first time

3.2.1. the first time Jacki sees Charlie running around naked while Thomas is carrying his underwear covered in poo. The situation instantly becomes awkward and Jacki leaves on her bike.

3.2.1.1. Jacki's first interaction with Charlie is embarrassing and it takes her time to gather herself to see the situation. The next time charlie sees her she plays with him and offers him lollies. This is a perfect example of acceptance for Thomas and the audience know that he should follow.

3.3.1. After Thomas and Charlie fight, Thomas realises what he has done wrong and feels a deep regret. We finally see Thomas breakdown and express his true emotions for his brother. This develops the narrative as we see Thomas show a real acceptance for charlie.

3.3.1.1. We understand the trouble Thomas goes through and the audience feel sympathy for him. This is done by high angle shots looking down on Thomas sitting on the curb. This makes him look weak and regretful for what he has done.
