4. Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will read a passage about if the government should be able to tap into phone conversation randomly and cite textual evidence in order to prepare for class debate.

6. I chose to differentiate the lesson based on the readiness level of the students. Each student takes an SRI test at the beginning of the year to determine their reading level.
