1.2.1. It means actively supporting a good cause, donating and inviting his / her own network (friends and acquaintances) to do the same. It is a widespread practice in Anglo-Saxon Countries

3. how does it work?

3.1. 1. Choose your good cause (a socially useful project promoted by a non-profit organization)

3.1.1.1. 3. Donate and invite your friends to sponsor you (friends can donate also via smartphone). Donors get automatically a receipt for tax deduction; fundraiser can monitor donations online

3.4. to increase the impact of fundraising, it is recommended
