1. Students help to create an alien inhabitable planet which we get teleported to at the beginning of class

2. We leave our planet at the end of the day to share our discoveries with our friends and families.

3. The planet will be called Virtutis, which is Latin for virtue.

4. We don’t want to bring too much stuff to the planet because we don’t yet know if the stuff will have a positive or negative impact on the planet.

5. We might start by watching the film “The Lord of the Flies.”

6. We establish how we are going to treat each other because there are no police, parents or prisons.

7. We certainly don’t want to end up having any “us vs them” groups. Besides, if there proves to be any danger on this planet, we’ll have to stick together.

8. We bring just enough to keep us from getting homesick.

9. Establishing rules. Aim for:

9.1. 1. See and treat other people just like you want them to see and treat you.

9.1.1. When someone is talking, don't interupt

9.1.2. Respect

9.1.3. Be on time and ready to learn

9.2. 2. Think about others before you think about yourself.

9.2.1. (Before you tell someone about your weekend, first ask them how theirs was)

9.3. 3. You will help others.

9.3.1. (You will want others to succeed and by doing so you will succeed faster)

9.4. 4. Instead of drawing attention to yourself, point out someone else’s accomplishments.

9.5. 5. You will be humble.

9.5.1. (Being real)

9.6. 6. You will strive to be the best you can be without seeking glory.

9.7. 7. Students will decide on the consequences of a breach.

9.8. 8. Everyone will sign the agreement.
