1. Qadaffi's Rule :Young Libyans were attracked to his brand of ultranationalism. Qadaffi announced a cultural revolution he reinstates islamic laws and many of his own; caling an end to colonialism, an attitude that after turn his government into a fervent anti-western dictatorship.

2. Who were the perpetrators and who were the victims of the crime?

2.1. Perpetrators: Many people have different views on who the perpetrator is but for the people of Libya and the Media, Qadaffi was seen as a villian. Qadaffi in many ways was similar to Hitler, but also very different. Qadaffi and Hitler both, were responsible for a numerous amount of deaths because people did not agree with their way of life.

2.2. Victims: The many innocent people who were killed due to some extreme protesters appear to be the victims. After Qadaffi was murdered the government began killing the locals because of the actions of a few.

3. What was the history behind the conflict?

3.1. When Qadafi takes the title of Prime Minister. He eventually began to dictate Libya. After several decades the Libyan's got tired of his rule and began to protest. They wanted a new ruler

3.2. After Qadaffi heard of the news, he was against it completely. The dictator then became angry and decided to murder anyone who thought he shouldnt rule.

4. What are the lasting effects to this day?

4.1. Many other countires such as the United States interferred in the internal conflict in Libya which had helped ease the genocide, but unfortunatley to this day the government is unable to protect their citizens and people are still suffering.

4.2. The genocide is still not over for the Libyan's.

5. How did the victims of the event try to stop the crime?

5.1. In many nations when protesting occurs the result is usually a positive change. Everyone has been effeted by the genocide in one way or another. The international community, led by the United Nations Security Counil, responded with sanctions and diplomatic efforts.

7. How did the conflict get resovled?

7.1. 6 months after the "Day of Rage" Qadaffi was captured by the local civilians. and was broodily murdered.

7.2. Although Qadaffi did die, the genocide was still not resolved. the government used tanks, fighter jets, and other heavy machinery to punich the locals.

8. Where did the event take place?

8.1. Libya is located in the northern-central part of Africa. It shares borders with Tunisa, Algeria, Chad, Sudan, and Egypt. It has a small population of about 6.2 million.

9. What happened during the event?

9.1. Libya's government was ruled by a man named Muammar Qadaffi. On Februrary 15th 2011, many people were upset with Qadaffi's rule that people all across the region staged a "Day of Rage," where they would protest on Qadaffi's 41 year reign

9.2. Qadaffi reacted with anger as anyone who opposed him would face death.

10. What role did propaganda play in this conflict?

10.1. Propaganda made people believe that the Libyan Genocide was no longer an issue and helped degrade the issue. To say that the current turn in Libya rpresents a victory by the Libyan people is at best an oversimplification. At tihe moment, war supporters are proclaiming the intervention to be a success.

11. Two forces fought in the "Libyan Revolution" those who were loyal and believed that colonel Muammar Qadaffi way of life was superior to others and those seeking to oust his govenment. The protest escalated into a rebellion that spread across the country.
