1. 'OutBreak'.

1.1. A very violent item of vocabulary; this is appropriate to the genre that the magazine will surround.

1.2. 'Outbreak' usually refers to some sort of infectious illness perhaps indicating and connoting to the fact that the product's popularity will spread.

1.3. Could implement the renowned isolation/biohazard tape to develop a brand or icon.

1.4. Audience members may consider the name to be slightly repulsive due to the associated illnesses.

2. 'A-Side'.

2.1. A very appropriate music term referring to the promoted, top side of a music vinyl disc/record.

2.2. The title is not claimed by another product.

2.3. The term that the title represents and refers to is not very current and moderately inappropriate to the genre that is selected (modern rock) and the established target audience (15-20 year old unisex but particularly males). This is due to the fact that digital music downloads are the current social norm for music whereas records are not incredibly popular meaning that the younger members of the demographic may not even be aware of vinyls whereas modern rock music is usually sold via digital download or CDs.

3. 'Flip Side'.

3.1. It is appropriate as it is a recognised and renowned musical term and is often associated with rock music.

3.2. This refers to the B-Side of a record/vinyl disc which is the opposite of the A-Side.

3.3. 'Flip Side' is already a recognised magazine title.

3.4. The B-Side was commonly affiliated with the lesser known, poorer quality songs that was not promoted to a huge extent and could only bow in the shadow of the much more popular A-Side single. This would imply that our magazine would not be the best to purchase.

4. 'Chant!'.

4.1. Chanting is, again, a musical term referring to a repeated rhythmic phrase, frequently shouted or sung in unison by a group of people.

4.2. The term is indicative of some sort of togetherness or unity which may appeal to some looking for a community supplied by common interest of members.

4.3. The exclamation point can be used as a brand icon throughout the magazine to enhance the reader's recognition of the product.

4.4. The selected word is loud but not violent enough to represent the anarchy and chaos commonly connoted from rock music.

5. 'Khaos'.

5.1. The unorthodox 'K' can be considered to be the magazine brand; it can be used as an icon throughout the magazine.

5.2. 'Chaos' is a synonym of anarchy, rebeliousness and destruction and shares connotations with the genre of magazine that is being produced.

5.3. The 'K' brand is already taken by the giant competitor magazine 'Kerrang!'.
