1. chapter 8 / I Spare Miss Watson's Jim

1.1. huck hides in the woods while people look for him, huck almost gets caught. He then finds food to survive such as fish & fruit. Huck finds a friend "Jim" he's a real friend.

2. chapter 9/ The House of Death Floats by

2.1. "It's a dead man. Yes, indeedy; naked, too. He's ben shot in de back. I reck'n he's ben dead two er three days. Come in, Huck, but doan' look at his face—it's too gashly." (9.18)

2.2. Huck & Jim started to explore the island, then they create a shelter. It starts to rain & thunder, the river rises because of the rain. They find a dead man.

3. chapter 10 / What comes of handlin' snake-skin

3.1. "It's YOU, at last!—AIN'T it?" I out with a "Yes'm" before I thought. (10.8, 10.9)

3.2. Jim doesn't talk about the dead man because he thinks it will bring bad luck. Jim swears there's bad luck on the way. Jim belives Huck should dress like a girl and go to town to see if there's any news about it.

4. chapter 11/ They're after us!

4.1. As huck finds a lady and asks her about it she says everyone belives it was pap / Jim responsible for it and there was rewards for both men.
