What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

1. DSLR Cameras

1.1. We learnt about the 3-point lighting by setting different setting on different light on each lighting creating shadow effects.

1.2. Clicking the shutting takes the photo

1.4. Keeping the autofocus on rather than keeping the manual on taking forever to focus it right

2. Adobe Photoshop

2.1. The magic lasso tool was extensively practised a lot and produced the masthead; a lot of practise was needed until I got the masthead to perfection.

2.2. The power of locking layers and to manipulate the words and having each word as a new layer being able to easily change them around and position them accordingly.

2.3. I have also learnt how to correct the white balance, contrast and brightness of the image via Photoshop, this enabled me to bring out the picture out of the darkness and highlight the image.

2.4. Colour picker tool was also used to the advantage of this technology as it enabled me to pick the colour from the masthead design and move it over to the colour of the text and reference to the three colour scheme convention

3. Adobe InDesign

3.1. In this technology, I learn how to create columns and fully justify the writing to the columns to make the writing look neat and be show in a much-contextualised manor

3.2. The power of locking layers and to manipulate the words and having each word as a new layer being able to easily change them around and position them accordingly.

3.3. I have also learnt how to correct the white balance, contrast and brightness of the image via Photoshop, this enabled me to bring out the picture out of the darkness and highlight the image

3.4. In this, I also used the colour gradient to get the fill on the back of the double page spread that was created in InDesign, which game me a grey background for where the writing has been placed. Uploading voice note via sound cloud to blogger (the feedback) to blogger was another technology used to show the feedback I had received
