2. War of Violence and Violations: According to Antonia Castaneda, the war was about territory. They created a fake border which made part of homes on american soil. Land, labor, and wealth. Castaneda said that during war, cultures and race starts to erase and the history they have created also erases.

3. 1840's Manifest Destiny: The Manifest Destiny was used for the expansion of the United States in Mexico during the time of the economic crisis, and while Mexico was trying to become independent from Spain.

4. Mestizos: The war between Mexico and the United States was a war that reflects racism. It targeted the Mexicans living there. The Mexicans were told they were considered Americans when it came to working, but were denied their rights.

12. Indian Removal: It targeted the Cherokees to provide according to Andrew Jackson physical comfort and moral improvement. Jackson wanted to turn them into farmers and tried to have everything they needed. He also said that they provided some steel, iron and not often but salt.

14. Native Americans: President Jackson suggested for the white people to move into the land of the Indians and force them to migrate. The strategy used was "practiced extensive bribery."
