Echo

1. Zeus was notorious for having affairs.

1.1. This was not the first or last occasion in which Zeus has an affair.

2. Echo was naturally talkative and loved the sound of her own voice.

3. Zeus took advantage of the fact that Echo was distracting Hera with her chatter to frolic with the Nymphs.

4. Hera assumed Echo was assisting Zeus's infidelity with her chatter.

4.1. Hera dared not retaliate on her husband, the Ruler of Olympus.

5. Hera punished Echo by taking away her voice and only allowing her to repeat other people's words.
