The Giver

1. Community

1.1. Each community has different ways and customs from other groups. They have strict rules and customs in their society.

2. Family Units

2.1. They share their feelings and thoughts every evening.

3. Ceremonies

3.1. The children are given more privileges and assignments. Family units get children given by the birth mother.

4. Jobs

4.1. Each child is given an assignment. Such as: bathing the elderly, Nurturers, Department of Justice, .

4.1.1. Each child gets a new assignment each year that requires more and more responsibility.

5. Rules

5.1. They're not allowed a bike until the reach the eights group. They must share their feelings and problems.

6. Places

6.1. There's the Justice Department, Home of the Elderly, Nurturing Center, Central Plaza. This is where children are assigned for their assignments and adults work.
