1. Final Decision: Our final decision would be option 2 just investigating and getting both the parent and school involved not only would this stop the abuse and therefore stop his bulling towards others.
2. Issue: Stan´s uncle filed an online complain because Stan decided to post his uncle´s and some classmates personal information such as phone numbers and addresses online which caused harassment like prank calls nonstop, order hundreds of pizzas to there door and sign them up for pornographic magazines etc. The online complaint cause the internet service provider to contact the police who alerted you the parent or school administrator.
3. History/ Background: Stan is a 8th grader who is physically bullied by his uncle. Some of his peers would also bully him because of his appearance. His bulling turned Stan to created a fake profile of himself online to really just escape from the real world and ended up getting popular. But unfortunately it didn´t stop him from getting bullied in a way of standing up for him self he posted personal information of his bullies online. This caused many problems over all Stan was pleased of all the harassment his bullies got from his online friends.
4. Option 1: As a PARENT I would take away all electronics from him.
4.1. Pros.
4.1.1. 1)He wouldn´t be able to post anything else or encourage cyberbullying.
4.1.2. 2)He might be able to get over the unhealthy persona he pretended to be online.
4.2. Cons.
4.2.1. 1)He might feel like he is alone or getting outcast when he losses all his so called friends.
4.2.1.1. *By losing his only way of being social without getting bullied it might provoke suicidal thoughts.
4.2.2. 2) I believe a teen can always get something like a phone etc. if they really wanted it.
5. Option 2: BOTH as parent and school administrator I would investigate why Stan posted it.
5.1. Pros
5.1.1. 1) We will find out of the alcoholic uncles physical abuse
5.1.1.1. *From finding this out we can stop him and get him and Stan help
5.1.2. 2)We can stop future events from happening (Can get him help before anything worst happens)
5.2. Cons
5.2.1. 1) School administrator or parent wouldn't do anything about it.
5.2.2. 2)Parents would think and feel it's all there fault for not paying enough attention
6. Option 3: As BOTH student administrator and parent getting him involved in school activities or groups
6.1. Pros.
6.1.1. 1)Cope/ Overcome his past abuse by giving him a different mentally and something else to focus on.
6.1.2. 2) Can help change his appearance by getting bigger or just changing the way he dresses.
6.1.2.1. *His classmates would stop bullying him and might actually make friends.
6.2. Cons.
6.2.1. 1) This can be a different way to get bullied and can become the outcast of the team or group.
6.2.2. 2)Can get stress added on to his bag of emotion.
7. Option 4: As BOTH school administrator and parent give him a lesson or show him a documentary of bullying.
7.1. Pros.
7.1.1. 1)This could show / teach him that he is becoming a bully .
7.1.2. 2)Show him how others deal and overcome bullying kinda showing him the light .
7.2. Cons.
7.2.1. 1)Nothing will change or just wouldn't affect him.
7.2.2. 2)He can become a worst bully and just become more anger from the video.
