1. ACCESS TO SERVICES - any student can be recommended by school (teacher or SERT) or parent to be involved in Rainbows, and there is no cost to the family - there are 3268 sites in 509 Canadian communities that are trained and registered to deliver the program

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION - served more than 2.7 million youth since 1983 - there is no cost to family or student (the registered Rainbows site assumes all related costs) - it is volunteer driven (but all volunteers undergo significant training) - this agency started in 1983 - available in French and English programming
3. VISIONS AND GOALS - Rainbows services grieving kids, youths, and adults as they deal with divorce, separation, death, or other traumatic life experiences
4. ADDRESSING EQUITY, INCLUSION, CULTURAL AWARENESS - produces high quality programs offered at no cost to the children - is available to children of all races and religions

SERVICES - Rainbows builds the confidence and self-esteem of hurting children, improves communications, prevents destructive behaviours, and improves academic performance - educates and builds public awareness about the growing number of children suffering significant loss issues in their lives - believes that grieving youth deserve supporting, loving listeners as they struggle with their feelings - serves as an advocate for youth who face life-altering crises
