1.1. It is extremely important to use assessment in your teaching because it lets you know exactly where students are and what they are understanding. Having these results can help guide your lesson to help you change anything that needs to be changed.

5.1. Used when students have been focusing on a unit for a long time to test their knowledge on that specific unit.

6. WHEN?

6.1. Using assessments should be a part of your daily instruction. You can use different types such as formative or summative. Examples of formative would include, thumbs up thumbs down, exit slip, etc. Examples of summative would be a district assessment or the STAAR Test.
