2. The 1936 ES-150 was made with no cutaway and a singe Charlie Christian pickup and had a basic wiring harness with tone and volume primogenitors.

9. The ES-5 was produced as an electric version of the Gibson L-5 acoustic guitar. It was made with a single cutaway and was the first guitar to be produced with 3 pickups (these being p-90 single coil pickups) and had 3 tone nobs one of which being the master tone. The volume nob was on the cutaway.

10. The Gibson ES-295 was produced with single cutaway and two p-90 humblers. The model was basically a hollow body counterpart of the Les Paul modeling it in every electronic detail.

11. The Gibson ES-335 was produced with the still dominant P-90 pickup and with the same electronic configuration as the Les Paul however it was made with a double cutaway and still is the most popular ES series Gibson ever produced.

12. The ES-339 was created to the specs of a ES-335 and was made with very similar electronics as well with another modern variation of the P-90 humbucker and a Memphis tone and volume circuit.
