1.1. The plot of the book Ripper is very easy to follow in my opinion cause in the beginning of the book Carvers conflict is trying to get out of the orphanage and into the detective agency and become the best detective in london.the conflict of the whole book is trying to figure out the crimes made by Jack the ripper and then try to catch him for good.

2. characterization

2.1. Stefan petrucha the author of the book Ripper describes the features of three main characters very well.The characters are Carver,Hawking,and Jack the ripper.the features described of carver are he is an orphan who is trying to become a detective and solve the crimes of the mysterious criminal Jack the ripper and he wants to solve the mystery of his parents and where they went.the features of Hawking are explained well he is a detective and ends up letting carver shadow him but Hawking always teaches a lesson without saying a word he just lets carver figure out the lesson and crime scenes.the features of the mysterious criminal Jack the ripper he is the one behind all the murders in london and he isnt just leading the two detectives away he is also playing game with them and he is also using Hawkings lessons to get away with murder.

3.2. The theme of the book Ripper is "no matter what happens and where you grow up good actions can lead to accomplish your dreams and unlock new abilities" just like Carver he has to grow up in an orphanage but his good deeds made him accomplish his dreams of being a detective.

The setting of the book Ripper by stefan petruca is in New York september 25 1888 the author mentions he setting in a note from Jack the ripper to his boos the heading of the letter says New York,also when Carver and Hawking are observing the crime scene they are all standing near a pub in time square in New York.

5.1. this book in my opinion is a 5star book it is well described by the author and drags me in to the crime scenes like im actually there helping find the killer.
