1. How the pigs treated Boxer.

1.1. The pigs used him only for work and did not truly respect him. They were even willing to give him away to a horse slaughterer for money. Even though Boxer was not respected by the pigs, he was still loyal to them and he always thought Napoleon was right.

1.2. A quote that supports that was when Boxer always said, "Napoleon is always right."

2.1. Personality

2.1.1. Intelligence: Is not very smart.

2.1.1.1. Only knows the first couple letters to the alphabet and doesn't know how to read.

2.1.1.2. A quote that supports this is, "...he was not first rate intelligence, but he was universally respected..."

2.1.2. Always worked hard.

2.1.2.1. No matter what, he always worked harder even though there were many setbacks. This encouraged many other animals to work harder.

2.1.2.2. One quote that he always said was, "I will work harder."

2.2. Physical

2.2.1. Strong

2.2.1.1. Boxer was as strong as two regular horses combined. Without Boxer they would have never been able to build the windmill.

3. Devotion and Loyalty

3.1. Boxer was always devoted and loyal to Napoleon and he did what ever Napoleon wanted him to do.
