1. How the pigs treated Boxer.

1.1. The pigs used him only for work and did not truly respect him. They were even willing to give him away to a horse slaughterer for money. Even though Boxer was not respected by the pigs, he was still loyal to them and he always thought Napoleon was right.

2.1.2.1. No matter what, he always worked harder even though there were many setbacks. This encouraged many other animals to work harder.

2.2.1.1. Boxer was as strong as two regular horses combined. Without Boxer they would have never been able to build the windmill.

3.1. Boxer was always devoted and loyal to Napoleon and he did what ever Napoleon wanted him to do.
