1. INDIAN INDEPENDENCE AND MOHANDAS GANDHI
1.1. -in 1857, India was part of British empire. -1947, India became independent, but it's divided in two countries: India (Hindu) and Pakistan (Muslim). - the leader of this independence movement, MAHANDAS GANDHI fight without violence but with diplomacy to protest for the end of horrendous bloodshed and boundary disputes. -he stoped to eat during the protest but he hasn't success. -Gandhi wanted a village economy for India but began the modernization of India, with factories, railroads and modern roads. -1948 Gandhi was assassinated by a Hindu fanatic. -in 1971, East Pakistan became new state of Bangladesh.

2. SECOND WORLD WAR
2.1. -how it started: Hitler with nazism invaded Poland.
2.1.1. -two years later 1941, a japanese attack on PEARL HARBOR in Hawaii. -1942, begin of HOLOCAUST, with nazi camp. -1944, D-DAY american in Normandy, beaches of France and Germany surrenders -ATOMIC BOMB on japanese cities, Hiroshima and Nagaski, which created a mushroom cloud and distroied a generation. Japan surrenders, because they had no choice so WW2 end.

2.3. -what Hitler wanted: he wanted to create an empireand to colonize every nations. ( in this period Germany was the most powerfull nation in the world).

2.5. Germany was stronger at the beginningof war. -1941, Germany invaded Russia but they failed because the weather was freeze.

3. EASTER RISING AND IRISH WAR OF INDEPENDENCE:
3.1. -during world war I, irish volunteers organised a rebellion in 1916. -in 1921 the irish free state was proclamed (it's just a free state but it's not independent). -in 1948, the official republic of ireland was established (with common wealt).
3.1.1. they wanted have home rule, freedom, right of people, to control theyr own affairs and broke with British empire.
3.1.2. Ireland was divided in two independent countries: -Northern Ireland (the capital is Belfast), is the industrial part. -Republic of Ireland (the capital is Dublin), the green part.
3.1.3. MICHAEL COLLINS: was an irish patriot, who ispired a nation to change course of history.
