1. Cognitive Complexity Levels

1.1. Know

1.2. Practice

1.3. Investigate

1.4. Integrate

1.4.1. This is the level of complexity of the task done by Mrs. James Class.

1.5. Specialize

1.5.1. The class could be more "specialized" by conducting an experiment of each of the options (even if on a small scale) instead of "examining the options and debating the solution". After conducting experiments of each of the options the students would "analyze/reflect on the results" BEFORE creating their Prezi presentation to the school principal showcasing their ideas for a greener school.

1.5.2. In order to become "specialized" the students would have to actually perform the possible ways to make their school more "green", even if on a small scale and analyze/reflect on the results BEFORE creating their Prezi presentation and turning it into their principal showcasing their ideas for a green school.

2. Bloom's Taxonomy Levels (revised)

2.1. Remember

2.1.1. Recongize

2.1.2. Recall

2.2. Understand

2.2.1. Interpret

2.2.2. Exemplify

2.2.3. Classify

2.2.4. Summarize

2.2.5. Infer

2.2.6. Compare

2.2.7. Explain

2.3. Apply

2.3.1. Execute

2.3.2. Implement

2.4. Analyze

2.4.1. Differentiate

2.4.2. Organize

2.4.2.1. The students "debated on which of the options would have the strongest environmental impact as well as feasible implementation.

2.4.3. Attribute

2.5. Evaluate

2.5.1. Check

2.5.1.1. Evaluate is the level that Mrs. James's class reached in Bloom's. Students "examined the different options" of going green.

2.5.2. Critique

2.5.2.1. Students "debated the solution".

2.6. Create

2.6.1. Generate

2.6.1.1. Students would have moved to the "Create" level in Blooms if they had been a part of "implementing an original solution". I think the students lacked in working on the actual "production.

2.6.2. Plan

2.6.2.1. They worked toward the planning part but were lacking in having any part in the "producing" part of the plan before having given it to their principal.
