1. Writing

1.1. The first step I have to take in order to learn any long information is to create my own notes. As I write down all the information I need to know I start having a basic idea of it, as I have to read it, put it into my short-term memory, and then write it down.

2. YouTube

2.1. I discovered a YouTube channel in which two hosts spoke about a wide variety of issues, uploading a video every day from Monday to Friday. I got really addicted to them, as they spoke about things almost nobody knows about. I learnt about lots of things that I am sure would not have been able to learn elsewhere. In addition, there are other channels from which I have learnt interesting things.

3. Reading

3.1. Once I have my own notes prepared, I sit down, prepare my room (close the door and put music on), and read it all calmly, understanding the information I am reading it and trying to create connections to information I already know.

4. Music

4.1. I like listening to music while I study. I got used to it by living with three siblings in the same house, so I had to find a way to concentrate while they did what they had to do and made noise. Therefore, when I want to really concentrate I put my headphones on and set the music to a high volume, so that nothing distracts me. If I don't, I am not able to work for more than half an hour.

5. Alone

5.1. I have to study on my own and at home. I have tried both studying with friends and in a library. The result was the same: I knew the same or even less than before. I am a persone who is easily distracted, even when I study alone, so to really concentrate I have to be alone in my room.
