How Canadians Can Help Syrian Refugees

1. Donating to Organizations

1.1. Donate to Canadian Organizations helping refugees. They supply newcomers with anything from food and clothing to guidance around the area.

1.2. Donate to International Organizations helping refugees. They help people still in war zones and supply them with food, water, and shelter.

2. Being Supportive

2.1. Don't show hate towards Syrian refugees. Be kind to them and help them in any way you can.

2.2. Welcome Refugees to Canada. So they feel that they are safe here.

3. Volunteering

3.1. Work with refugees to find a place to live and work. Also to get around the area and learn English or French.

3.2. Work with thrift stores, food banks, and other charities to supply refugees with affordable necessities.

4. Sponsoring Refugees

4.1. Sponsors help refugees by providing the refugees with food, clothes, and shelter. They help with medical care selection and find schools and courses for refugees.

4.2. A family of Canadians can sponsor refugees or a company/group could work to sponsor some too.
