Integrating IT in KS3 curriculum

1. Encourage learners to become active users of English when they apply their IT skills for presentation, critical thinking, information evaluation and knowledge management, using information on the Internet

2. Engage learners in interactive and collaborative work through online discussions and sharing of ideas

3. Offer Computer Literacy course for Secondary 1 to 3 students

3.1. offer IT-related subjects such as Computer Studies and Information Technology as electives for students

4. Offer ample opportunities in using IT tools in their learning in other subjects and thus they will have a chance to further develop their IT competence.

5. Present the lesson in a motivating and engaging way by making use of multimedia presentation tools

6. Provide opportunities for learners to take charge of their own learning through selective use of online resources
