1. The way we teach should change with the times. Students are different now than they were years ago, they should be taught differently.
2. With the wealth of information in the world now, it is important for the learner to gain information that is factual and not be misled with easily accessed falsehoods.
3. It is important for teachers to teach students how to decipher what is factual and what is not in the technological age of easily accessed information.
4. Teaching is a two way street. Teachers can learn from students, just as much as students can learn from teachers.
5. Learning is lifelong. Now that information is at everyone's fingertips people are able to continue educating themselves after they have left school.
6. Learning is an ability everyone has, no matter the disability.
7. Teaching and learning does not always have to happen in a formal classroom setting. Teaching and learning can happen anywhere.
