1. Communication
1.1. As someone who will have a lot of contact and direct communication with the student orgs, I would like to be a bridge for information between student orgs and USGD as a whole
1.1.1. SDFC pay differences (with the help of Jackson): One thing I have learned is that there may be a pay disparity between the SDFC's across all campuses. To avoid a conflict of interest, being an SDFC employee as well, I would like to look into it but have help acting on or addressing this issue
1.1.1.1. I think that as an entire University we need to work on the notion of "One University". Communication between our student orgs Downtown would be one way to help. Communication with the other Directors of Finance on the other campuses and inquiring knowledge from them about the way their orgs work would be a way to help
1.1.1.1.1. Make sure students are aware of what their fees are actually doing for this campus
2. Engagement
2.1. Think of creative ways to encourage student participation in all Downtown events
2.1.1. Establish tradition for our campus and encourage the participation in university-wide tradition
2.1.2. Student participation in events held by student orgs means optimal use of funding
3. Policy
3.1. University-Wide Funding Policies- We need a more consistent and University-wide funding policy. All of the campuses are on completely different wavelengths as far as amounts that can be requested and for what purposes, and I think that it would not only make it easier to have one University-wide funding policy, however it promotes the actual idea of "One University".
