1. INPUT DEVICES :Voice recognition systems recognition systems recognize spoken words and commands . exmaple : microphones and digital camera . OUTPUT DEVICES : Stereo ,Monitor,Projector and printer.
2. MEMORY AND STORAGE DEVICES : 1)RAM: volatile storage and enables the simulataneous running of many applications . 2) ROM : is nonvolatile storage. The Bios program that boots up the computer resides in the ROM.
3. basic stages in multimedia project .Example : planning and costing ,Designing and producing ,testing and Delivering.
4. 1) ORGANIZATIONAL :develop an organized outline detailing the skills,time,budget,tools and resources needed for the project. 2) COMMUNICATION : essential to the efficient and accurate completion of your project.
5. MAIN ROLES IN THE TEAM : 1) project manager : the leader of a project. 2)multimedia designer :determines the design elements required to support that sturucture . 3)interface designer : interface that lets the user access or modify the content. 4)writer: create characters and actors narrations. 5) Audio/Video specialist : focus on the audio and video production. 6)Multimedia programmer : project using an authoring system or programming language.
6. AUTHORING TOOL IS A SOFTWARE PACKAGE : organize and edit the multimedia elements of multimedia project. Design screen layouts using templates. Create interactivity . Assembling diverse multimedia elements into a single ,cohesive product.
7. EDITING AND ORGANIZING FEATURES 1) PROGRAMMING FEATURES : Visual programming with icons. Examples : flash , livecode , & toolbook. 2) INTERACTIVITY FEATURES : content and flow of information in a project . 3) PERFORMANCE TURNING : authoring system should facilitate precise timing of events . 4)PLAYBACK FEATURES : build part of project and then test it immediately. 5) DELIVERY FEATURES : run time version not allow user to access and change the content .
