1. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers and applications as well as an understanding of the concepts underlying hardware, software and connectivity.

1.1. Turn on computer and log in.

2.3. Explain the difference between free use and copyrighted material.

2.4. Identify and explain the strategies for the safe and efficient use of computers.

2.5. Demonstrate safe email practices, recognition of the potentially public exposures of email and appropriate email etiquette.

2.6. Identify cyberbullying and describe strategies to deal with the situation.

2.7. Recognize and describe the potential risks and dangers associated with various forms of online communications.
