Animal Abuse

1. Animal abuse is an important social issue affecting animals, families, and communities.
2. They hurt animals because they don't think about or realize what they are doing.
3. These people are called hoarders, and they take in so many animals because they love them.
3.1. How could they do this many animal when all animals want is love
4. Nearly all of these people can learn to understand that they are being cruel through education and increasing their awareness of the needs of our animals neighbors.
4.1. Why do they do this to these animals
5. Of animal abuse cases, 64.5 percent involve dogs, while only 18 percent involve cats, and almost 1 million animal are abused each year due to human domestic violence, according to the humane society.
6. They may keep a dog in their yard with a doghouse that is on the ground and gets flooded with water when it rains, or they keep their dog on a short chain all the time.
