2.1.2.1. Organization based in Cambodia which focuses on personal and financial development for the impoverished families.
2.1.2.1.1. Allows families to save money with them and provide them 10% Interest
2.1.2.1.2. Also through volunteer work builds houses and wells to provide families with shelter and clean water
2.1.2.1.3. Sells silk and craft products where the profits are used to fund their activities
2.1.3. Green Umbrella Foundation
2.1.3.1. Aims to improve the living standards and teach members of the community to make an income to support their families
2.1.3.1.1. Teaches students from kindegarten to grade 2 free of charge
2.1.3.1.2. Also teaches families how to sew and make handicrafts

3. Causes
3.1. High Education Fee
3.1.1. Lack of teachers and schools
3.1.1.1. Adult literacy rate in Cambodia is 63% which is much less than the South East Asian average of 90%
3.1.2. Families are unable to pay for school fees
3.1.3. Because children are likely not to get an education, they work as a child, leaving them with slim opportunities in the future - this is the beginning of the cycle.

3.2.1. During the end of the 1960's Cambodia was at a civil war.
