1. In between now and 2020 the number of Spanish speakers is expected to rise to 39-43 million.
2. In 2016, 3/4 of all Hispanics ages 5 and older speak Spanish.
3. On the graph, the amount of spanish people speaking spanish in the U.S. is going down while the Amount of spanish people speaking english are going up.
4. Spanish is the most spoken non-English language.
5. Spanish is spoken by more non-Hispanics in U.S. homes than any other non-English language.
6. If Spanish follows the same path as other foreign languages spoken in the U.S. it will be on a steep decline.
7. The Spanish language might not because 95% of Spanish speaking adults in the U.S. think it's important for future generations to still speak Spanish.
