What is the future of Spanish?

1. The population of Spanish speakers will decrease by 34% by 2020.
2. In 2012 Hispanic research project report showed 95% of Hispanic adults-including those born in the U.S-said it was important that future generations of Hispanic speak English.
3. More English is spoken in the American home by Hispanics.
4. Among Hispanics, use of English is on the rise.
5. Spanish language in the U.S is unfolding.
6. The use of Spanish has increased throughout previous years buts is slowly declining.
7. As speakers of English are rising, speakers of Spanish are decreasing.
8. The number of Italian,German, and Polish speakers declined 52.2%,32.7%, and 25.9% between 1980 and 2010.
9. Today's young Hispanics speak more English than they do Spanish.
