What is the future of Spanish in the US?

1. Spanish is growing tremendously. there are 37 million Spanish speaking people in the U.S in 1980 there was only 11 million Spanish speaking people in the U.S
2. not only Hispanic immigrants speak Spanish there are many other that do many Spanish TV shows are beating american ones
3. Jenifer Ortman reported that by 2020 there will be more than 40 million people speaking Spanish about 38 million are Hispanic
4. many of the spanish adults are saying that it is important so dont forget how to speak it many of the young Hispanics are being tought that but its becoming harder because the news media and music are being spoken in english
5. Most Hispanics that are 5 and older speak Spanish but it is expected to decrease in 2020 cause most will be speaking english
6. the number of Italian,German, and Polish has declined in the US the of languages are not spreading as well as Spanish
