Proclamation of 1763:              Cause - The British intended on stopping the Colonists from entering the Natives land because they feared war.                               Effect - Banned British settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains. It also ordered settlers to leave the upper Ohio River Valley.

1.1. 3. Sugar Act 1764:                                   Cause - To raise money to help pay for the military costs of the American colonies.                                               Effects - Increased the number of items that would be taxed.

1.1.1. 4. Stamp Act 1765:                               Cause - The British Government needed to create money to support the Army. (Colonists had to pay for stamps, paper, ect....)                           Effects - The colonists started protesting and soon formed a secret society know as The Sons of Liberty.
