1. ovary:protects the ovule and becomes the fruit after fertilisation has taken place
2. style:connects the stigma to the ovary.
3. ovule:becomes the seed after fertilisation has taken place.
4. petal:attracts pollinators such as birds and insects to the flower
5. flower stalk:holds the flower up so that it can be easily detected by pollinators.
6. Anther:produces pollen grains and stores them in pollen sacs
7. Filament:holds the anther up
8. Stigma:receives pollen grains
