Comparing Linear and Quadratic Functions
by Rudy Hernandez
1. Linear Function
1.1. A linear function is a function that the result of the equation will have one independent and dependent variable which the independent will be the x and the dependent is the y.
1.1.1. b is the coefficient of the independent variable. For an example y = f(x) = a + bx= bx is the b coefficient.
1.1.1.1. a is the y intercept. For an example f(x)= a + bx= a is the the y- intercept.
