Quadratic Functions VS. Linear Functions
by Vincent Fofi
1. Quadratic Functions
1.1. f(x) = ax2 + bx + c
1.2. The graph of a quadratic function is a curve called a parabola
1.3. Parabolas may open upward or downward and vary in "width" or "steepness", but they all have the same basic "U" shape.
2. Linear Functions
2.1. F(x): a=bx
2.2. Made of one independent and one dependent variable.
2.3. Graph is a straight line
